Welcome to the official homepage of Jelly Surprize F.C.

The Most Popular Jelly Surprize Website on the Net

What's new with Jelly Surprize?

Well if you've visited the site before you may already have noticed that has undergone a face-lift to make it a bit more user friendly (not that there are any "users" strictly speaking). You are currently in the Jelly Surprize Football Club section. This has all of the old material on the football side of things, with a few new things throw in. The number of pictures have been cut down and all those from Si & Gemma's wedding and travelling have been moved. However this means that the photos left in this section are the best JSFC ones. I am also in the process of completing a fairly comprehensive result/stats section (having found a back-up disk!) to finally answer all those burning questions like; "How many goals did Mya score?" & "What was the result of the friendly match on 10th November 1999?"

As regular visitors to this site will know a lot has happened to Jelly Surprize and its players in the last year. This site was set up in November 2003 to chart the history and future developments of the near mythical football team; Jelly Surprize.

If you are new to the site you can find a bit more about us by using the updated menu bar at the top of the screen. There is also a dedicated section on the story of Jelly Surprize HERE

At the moment the football team is not very active. The last games were played in Feburary 2005 as part of the "world tour of Holland" (tm), where a new JS strip was unveiled to the waiting public, with much fan fare, in the sleepy Dutch town of Edam. You can see pictures of the tour in the photo section.

So What have we got to look forward to next?

Well there is plenty in the pipeline. Our Star Striker, Nick and his lovely fiancée Sarah are getting married in the summer. Hopefully we'll get a decent picture to put on the site. That will make 2 JS players hitched, one forward and one goalkeeper. Attention will now undoubtably fall on the midfield and defenders.

Anything Else??

Well We'd like to say, don't be ripped off with any lame imitation sites.
This is the real thing, the only official Jelly Surprize website on the Internet.
We've had a lot of complaints recently from Americans, because a jelly surprise is a kind of cookie with m&m's and jelly tots and all sorts of other crap in them. So people looking for cookie recipes come across this site, its like a diet solution for obese Americans, forget cookies, read JS online and start your own footie team. Maybe we can get some kind of grant.
Jelly Surprize is more than a football team, its a whole life philosophy.
Like Taoism, but with less monks.
In fact we're like M.A.S.K., that 80's cartoon, where each member of the team has a speciality and they assembled the perfect team, with the right set of skills to tackle the job.

The best bits of the football site if you're in a rush is the Meet The Team page and the brand new Photo Gallery with loads of pictures old and new

Also worth a look is the Look-a-like page. Which is constantly updated from suggestions on the message board/in the pub.

Finally, I built this entire site using HTML code I wrote and learnt during construction. Bow down and give me respect mortals. Si - webmaster
