Chris was very late in joining the Jelly Surprize fold. Playing for the team in the Summer Tournaments at Birmingham University and turning out a few times at the connexion.
He also played for Chemistry F.C. with Si in the Birmingham University Varsity league. This was without a doubt the worst football team in the world. Losing in one 11-a-side cup match, 23-0. They at least proved the theory that you have to have quality in depth and not just a couple of world class players to win anything.
